Corporate responsibility

Responsibility, made practical

We are a small digital health business. That makes it easier to see the choices that are ours to make — and harder to hide them behind a large-company sustainability statement.

A proportionate approach

Start with the impacts closest to the work

Established responsibility frameworks cover people, planet, fair operating practices, governance and community. We use that broad view, then concentrate on the decisions where a company of our size can be specific and accountable.

01

Focus on our real impacts

As a small specialist business, our clearest impacts come from how we travel, what we buy, who we support and how responsibly we deliver digital services.

02

Prefer evidence to slogans

We will publish measured activity when it is available, explain what is not yet measured and avoid presenting estimates as achievements.

03

Improve the decisions we control

Responsibility is part of everyday choices about journeys, devices, suppliers, data, accessibility and the organisations we support.

Charities we support

Expanding opportunity and belonging

We support organisations working to remove barriers, widen opportunity and help young people feel safe, included and able to thrive.

Environment

Travel less. Choose the lower-impact journey.

Most of our work is digital, but being present matters. We reduce unnecessary travel first, then prefer public transport or electric vehicles where a journey is needed.

Electric on the road

Where road travel is necessary and practical, electric vehicles are our default choice.

Public transport first

Rail, bus and other shared transport are preferred when they can meet the needs of the work.

Ethical supply chain

Buy less, keep it longer and ask better questions

Our purchasing influence is modest, but it is real. We favour durable, repairable products and suppliers that provide credible information about labour, materials, environmental impact and business conduct.

A practical purchasing choice

Fairphone

For business mobile hardware, we prefer Fairphone where it meets the operational need. Its focus on repairable, longer-lasting devices, fair and recycled materials, worker wellbeing and supply-chain transparency aligns with the questions we want our purchasing to ask.

Read Fairphone's impact approach
Before we buy
  • Can the product be repaired, supported and kept in useful service for longer?
  • Is there meaningful transparency about materials, labour and the supply chain?
  • Does the supplier protect data, respect human rights and act against corruption?
  • Can a local, lower-impact or refurbished option meet the same operational need?

Digital responsibility

In healthcare, responsible technology is part of responsible business

Privacy & security

Collect less, protect it properly and make access accountable.

Accessible delivery

Design services that work for different people, contexts and abilities.

Honest claims

Describe what technology does today and distinguish it from what is planned.

Useful longevity

Prefer maintainable systems, open standards and handovers that leave capability behind.

Accountability

A page to update, not a promise to forget

Our next step is to maintain a simple annual record of charitable support, business travel and responsible purchasing. We will update this page when measured information is ready and correct anything that no longer reflects our practice.
